He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris Tansey (Walsh); his children, William J. Tansey (Gemma), Marilyn J. Maginniss (Matthew) and Gregory J. Tansey (Nancy) of Rockland; his grandchildren, Christopher Maginniss (Jenny), Caitlyn Maginniss, Lydia, Madalynn and Benjamin Tansey; and his siblings, Joseph Tansey, Eleanor Ewbank and Manola Regan.
