He was predeceased by: his wife Helen (Kuehl); his children, Robin and Steven Kidd; and his brother Kent Derby. He is survived by: his sister Barbara (Mudge) of South Carolina; and his nieces and nephews, Donna Perry of Arizona, Cindy Kelly of Hanson, Robert Derby of Pembroke, Scott (Julie Derby) of Middleboro and Mitchell (Holly Kidd) of Alabama.
