It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Donovan of Hanson, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Prescott and Teresa Prescott (Jellison); her husband Kenneth F. Donovan; and her brother Charles Prescott. She is survived by: her children, Deirdre Mitchell (Matthew) of Halifax, Kenneth F. Donovan (Lisa Surette), Kevin M. Donovan (Susan Ide) of Rockland, Brian R. Donovan of Rockland and Timothy P. Donovan (Diane) of Hanson; her grandchildren, Kenneth Donovan (Oriana Burnet), Stephen Donovan (Lauren), Kathleen Merrill (Ross) and Hannah Mitchell; her great grandchild Brody Donovan; her sisters, Virginia Nelson (Harold) of Bridgewater and Teresa Pintrich; and her pets, Slugger, Syd, Boris and Bear. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
