He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth J Burke (MacEacheran); and his parents, Paul E. Burke and Elizabeth Burke (Geary). He is survived by: his friend Jean Doherty of Stoughton; his children, Patrick Burke (Jessica McLeod) of Hanson and Erin Burke of Plymouth; his siblings, Mary-Jane Simmons of Plymouth and Paul Edward Burke; his grandchild Brigit Rose Burke of Hanson; his stepgrandchild Camden Castagna-McLeod of San Francisco, CA.; and his nieces, Lisa and Tammy Simmons.
