“I went to rehab with Joe in October of 2019. He stuck out like a sore-thumb amongst the walking zombies in there. A tall, good-looking man who, at first glance, seemed wholesome. He was quick-witted, funny, and angry at his family for being there. Much like me, he wasn’t your typical addict or what others think an addict is—he was successful, had a loving family, and articulate. Unfortunately, Joe didn’t want the help. When I saw the news report about Joe I was saddened. Another good person gone”
