With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Daley of Hanson, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 25, 2021 at the age of 67. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Daley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daley and Marjorie Daley (Dunn). He is survived by: his wife Maureen Daley (McClellan); his children, Conor Daley (Jenny) of Braintree, Kate Fisher (Paul) of Hanson and Brendan Daley (Kim) of St. Johns, FL.; his siblings, Donna Brown (late Ken) of Pembroke, Becky Daley of Hanson and Jaime Reid (Christopher) of Scituate; and his grandchildren, PJ and Jovi Fisher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the James Daley Athletic Memorial Fund at Rockland Trust.

“I want your family to know what kind of man your dad was even when he was my 17 year old student. He was a major character in his Senior Class Play, the same week the basketball coach began practices and scrimmages. The coach told Jimmy that if he chose the play he would be dropped from the team. Jimmy selected the play . He knew that if he left it was too late for someone to learn all those lines in 3 days. Did the coach change his mind ? Even then, Jim was thinking of others before himself.”
