He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen Averill (Lupien); his children, Earnest Ray Averill (Jeannie) of Holbrook, Tina M. Siereveld (David) of Hanson and James Averill of Halifax; his grandchildren, Joshua and Britney Siereveld; his sister Marguerite Burr; his niece Laura Demarest of New York; and his nephew Greg Burr of Georgia. He was also cherished by great grandchildren.
