He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Gagnon and Isabelle; and his sisters, Patricia Belanger (Gagnon) and Lestina Jasinski (Gagnon). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gagnon (Miller); his children, Jane Kent (Jeffrey Kent, Sr) of Middleboro and John Gagnon of Hanson; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Kent, Jr. (Rick Johnson) of Los Angeles, Joshua Kent of Middleboro, Jessica Kent of Los Angeles, Kaylie Gagnon of Hanson, Evan Gagnon of Hanson and Lianna Gagnon of Hanson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as their children and beloved cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Whitman-Hanson Dollars for Scholars in Carroll Gagnon's name.
