He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Gurney; and his stepson Barry C. Johnson. He is survived by: his mother June Gurney (Perucich) of Hanover; his wife Amy B. Gurney (Fresina); his children, Allison B. Gurney and Brendon C. Gurney of Hanson; his siblings, Mark R. Gurney (Sandy) of Whitman and Lauren A. Gurney of Hanover; and his nephews, Matthew Gurney, Mark Gurney, Kevin Gurney and Michael Parsons.
