We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2021, at the age of 88, William McDonough of Hanover, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myles McDonough and Katherine McDonough (Stanton); his wife Dorothy "Dottie" (Teevens); his children, William McDonough (Ellen) of Hanson, MA, Kathleen Costa (Alan) of Nantucket, MA and Sean McDonough (Catherine) of Park Ridge, IL.; his grandchildren, Eamonn McDonough (Rebecca) of Fort Drum, NY, Keely Battle (Jeremy) of Washington, DC, Devon McDonough (Leslie) of East Bridgewater, MA, Conor McDonough (Christine) of Washington, DC, Maeve and Annie McDonough of Park Ridge, IL.; his great grandchildren, Mirra, Ellery, Reese McDonough, Evelyn, Levon McDonough and Quinn Battle; and his siblings, Joanne Cavallini, Peggy Collins, Alice Yacobian, Mary McDonough and Myles McDonough.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Bill's name to St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church.
