She was predeceased by: her spouse William H. Dowd, Sr.; and her parent James J. Rabbitt of Hyde Park. She is survived by: her son William H. Dowd, Jr.; her wife Elizabeth; her granddaughters, Colleen of Hanover, Caitlin of Hanover and Maxine of Hanover; her parent Agnes Rabbitt (Ryan) of Hyde Park; and her brother Joseph E. Rabbitt (Kathleen) of East Falmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila's memory may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 55 Fogg Road, South Weymouth, MA, whose care was so helpful and compassionate during her short illness.
