He was predeceased by: his father John Tand Mary Rafferty; his daughter Josephine "Joy" Inglis of Hanover; and his brother John "Jack" Rafferty of South Boston. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Powers; and his children, Robert Rafferty Jr. (Adrianne) of Hanover, Carolyn "Lyn" Owens (John) of Hanover, John Rafferty (Laura) of Pembroke and Michael Rafferty (Sharon) of Rockland. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
