He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sheryl Beers, Kenny, Billy and Donnie. He is survived by: his significant other Carol A. Atkins (Coughlin); his children, Judi (W. Jevens Strachan), Robert V., Jr., John W. (Jay), Sally (Charles San George, II) and David G.; his grandchildren, Jevie, Jill, Melissa, Noelle, Jaymie, Lucy and Rebecca; his great grandchildren, Will, Sofia, Molly and Benjamin; his siblings, Walter David Atkins, Betty Ann Cossette and Kathy Berry; and his pet Retrievers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
