He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Saniuk and Helen Saniuk of Dorchester. He is survived by: his wife Mary Saniuk of Dorchester; his children, Michael Saniuk (Jen) and Kristin Whiting (Jon); his grandchildren, Michael, Will Saniuk, Grace, Dylan and Ellie Whiting; and his sister Jane Saniuk (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, we would like to honor Mike by spreading the word of the importance of blood donation. Of course monetary donations are meaningful, but the actual donation of healthy blood/platelets is far better to help people in desperate need.
