He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Courtney and Marie Courtney (Rockwell); his wife Maria Courtney (Stearns) of Hanover; his sons, Nicholas Courtney of Hanover and James Courtney of Hanover; his pet Teddy; and his siblings, Daniel Courtney (Claire) of Bridgewater, Stephen Courtney of Piney Flats and Mary Meekins (Greg) of Bridgewater. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
