He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roland Whitman and Lena Whitman; his wife Barbara; his daughters, Nancy Kuoni (Kevin Mooney), Sandra Whitman (Mike Benoit) and Joyce Whitman (Keith Conforti); his grandsons, Ryan and Jason Conforti; his brother Charles "Bud" Whitman; and his niece Catherine Paris (Shan) of Fayetteville.
