James C. Mueller Obituary
James C. Mueller graduated to Heaven peacefully in his sleep on November 26, 2022 at the age of 90. Despite his 12 year battle with Alzheimer’s he was always kind, happy, and quick witted until the end. He was a sweetheart.
Born in Roxbury, MA on Jan. 21, 1932, he was the son of Victor and Elisabeth Mueller. He was a Korean War Army veteran and was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation. He married Enid Hallin while on leave in March 1953. Together they raised 4 children. Jim lovingly cared for his wife during her battle with cancer until her passing in 2005. They were married for 52 years. Jim worked hard - working his way up to Vice President and Co-owner of Adolph Bauer Co.
Jim was passionate and dedicated to his faith and family. He was a part of the St. Mary’s prayer group for many years, as well as being a eucharistic minister and spiritual leader. He was the most loving and fun Father & Papa of which we all have our special memories..
Jim was the loving husband of the late Enid (Hallin) Mueller. Father of the late Jim Mueller and his wife Terri of Hanson, Daniel Mueller and his wife Pam of Pembroke, Karl Mueller of Pembroke, and Gloria McHugh and her husband Kurt of Hanson. Papa of 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings Victor, Joseph, Robert, Francis, Frederick, Peter, Elisabeth Ekstrom and Mary Hunt. He is also survived by his good friend of many years, Sylvia Sudbey of Hanover and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday November 30th from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanover - 551 Washington St., Rt. 53. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary’s, 392 Hanover St. in Hanover, MA. Burial will immediately follow at Hanover Center Cemetery.
