He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico G. Avitabile and Teresa Avitabile (Avitabile); and his siblings, Luigi P. Avitabile and Rose Cuomo. He is survived by: his wife Winnie T. Avitabile (Delaney); his son Joseph W. Avitabile (Regina) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Joseph and Rebecca; his niece Marie Cuomo; and his great-nephew Collin Palmer of Weymouth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Brothers Home For Funerals (1 Independence Ave, Quincy, MA 02169). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sweeney Brothers Home (1 Independence Ave, Quincy, MA 02169).
