Dana Gillis Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dana Gillis Sr. of Hanover, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gillis and Hildegarde Gillis (McKenna); and his siblings, Arthur Jr. and Hildegarde Gillis. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Gillis (Lamplough); his children, Dana, Jr. (Christine) of Scituate and Julie (Tim Williams) of Marshfield; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah Gillis, Aidan and Devin Williams.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home- Hanover (551 Washington St, Hanover, MA 02339). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Parish- St Mary's (392 Hanover St, Hanover, MA 02339). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Hanover Center Cemetery (47 Main St, Hanover, MA 02339).
