He is survived by: his spouse Arlene Merline of Franklin; his children, Charlene Livers (Bud) of Virginia Beach, VA, Daniel Merline of New Bedford, Anne Marie Merline of Fort Collins, CO and Michael Merline of Franklin; and his grandchild Trey Livers (Renee). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' name to St. Mary's Pastoral Visitation Program, St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin, MA 02038.
