Carol Higgins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Carol Higgins of Hanover, Massachusetts, born in North Quincy, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Higgins; her daughters, Cheryl Larson (Larry) of Marshfield, Denise Creedon (James) of Marshfield and Cindy Higgins of Marshfield; her siblings, Russ Sweeney (Jean) of Weymouth, Joan Myatt (Jack) of Hingham, Jay Sweeney and Janet Depesa of Plymouth; her siblings-in-law, Thomas Higgins (Jackie), John J. Higgins S. J. and Eileen Fitzgerald (Jack); and her grandchildren, Meaghan, Emily, Sarah, Mary Kate, James, Caroline, Anna, Matthew, Paige and Will. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home (1755 Ocean St, Marshfield, MA 02050). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Christine's Church (1295 Main St, Marshfield, MA 02050). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
