He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Simon Pongratz and Anna Pongratz (Lengyel); his wife Eleanore M. (Buba); and his siblings, Simon, Anna, Erno, Edmund, Gergely, Christopher and Maria.
He is survived by: his children, Marianne V. Pongratz of Randolph and Balint J. Pongratz Jr. of Hanover; and his brother Andrew Pongratz of Arizona.
