He is survived by: his children, Shanna Avery (Michael Lester) of Missouri and James Avery of Missouri; his stepchildren, Michelle Johnson (Bill White) of Hampden and Eric Johnson of Monson; his siblings, Rayann Vanderzanden (Richard), Mark Avery of North Adams and Mathew Avery (Leslie); his grandchildren, Callista Hathman, Hailey White and Andrew White; his niece Nicole Bliss; and his nephews, Jason Shorette and Jeremy Avery.
