It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Shay of Hampden, Massachusetts, born in Beverly, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Shay and Mary Shay (Kelley); and his brother David Shay. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Shay (Dawson) of Hampden; his sons, John J. Shay (Cathleen) of Bethlehem Township, PA and Lawrence D. Shay (Amy) of Westwood, MA; his siblings, Mary Burke (Charles) of Peabody, MA, Daniel Shay (Judith) of East Orleans, MA and William Shay of Beverly, MA; and his grandchildren, John, Nathaniel, Zachary, Molly and Nicholas.
