We bid farewell to George Richard Keddy of Hampden, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 22, 2024 at the age of 93. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Keddy and Mary Keddy (Fisher); his former wife Elizabeth Keddy; his daughter Diane E. Petitt; and his grandchildren, Jessica Emery and Patrick Petitt.
He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Keddy (Jensen) of Hampden; his sons, John M. Keddy of Melbourne, FL and Lawrence G. Keddy of Thailand; his grandchildren, Dylan G. Petitt (Jenna) of North Attleboro, MA and Natalie Keddy of Thailand; his great grandchildren, Jordan Emery, Jacob Paradis and Brooke Petitt; his great great grandchild Stella Citkins Emery; and his stepchildren, Stephanie Schipper, Amy Zander and Dr. Andrew Hersman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cecilia's Church (42 Main St, Wilbraham, MA 01095).
