It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Chaffee Sr. of Hampden, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 19, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley B. Chaffee and Maude H Chaffee (Butterfield). He is survived by: his wife Sandra J Howell; his children, Lori Kellner, Caryn Paradis (David), Dennis Chaffee Jr. (Lisa), Justin Chaffee (Kristy), Kim Lupi (Joe), Cheryl Stewart, Michelle Lachapelle (Ken), Cheri Ribbe (Chris), Bradley Tryba (Lillian), Dale Tryba (Jill) and Eric Methe; his sisters, Marilyn Bennett (Gordon) and Diane Wilkinson; and his pet Ranger. He is also survived by his 25 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many cherished nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 concerns there was a private graveside burial with military honors at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Hampden, MA.
