He was predeceased by: his wife Paula Bernard (Levesque); his parents, Ella Johnson, (Douthwright) and Theodore Johnson, Sr.; his children, Scott Johnson and Kimberly McCormack; his grandchildren, Danielle, Alexis and Robert; and his sister Karen Zagorski.

He is survived by: his children, Eric Johnson (Janet) of Jacksonville, FL, Kristen Wyco (Robert) of Gloucester, VA, Zachary Johnson (Julia Bond) of Hamilton, Michelle Zimmerman (Keith) of Danvers, Viki Brooks (Gary) of Danvers and Jeremy Bernard of Lunenburg; his children-in-law, Jane Johnson of Gloucester and Kevin McCormack of Williamsburg, VA; and his siblings, Paul Johnson (Patricia) of Hamilton and Marcia Johnson (John Yarosevich) of Acton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
