He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzie and Joe. He is survived by: his wife Olga; his children, Wendy Lindsay (Peter Theriault) of Beverly, Melody Hart of Haverhill, Karen Dunn (John Puleo) of Kittery and Douglas Lindsay (Ruth) of Beverly; and his close friends, Rebecca (Jonas) of Sweden, Tray (Kristie), Chantal (Nate) of New Hampshire, Nathan, Erin (Mike), Bryna (Dan), Kat (Justin), Mary of Massachusetts, Rory (Jear), Alec (Lauren), Nigel of Maine, Sam and Abby of California. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Donations may be made in Howard's name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Cape Ann in Gloucester in lieu of flowers.
