He is survived by: his parent Phyllis MacVittie Waldie; his sibling Bryan MacVittie; his father Paul MacVittie; his stepmother Robbin of Newbury, NH; his half-brother Major William MacVittie; his aunt Marv Wilson; and also, Polly Wilson and Ian Wilson. He is also survived by his parents and brothers, he is survived by his uncle.
