It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Burkhardt (Halifax, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 14, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother John Burkhardt of Scituate; his wife Sally S. Burkhardt; his sons, Robert Jr., David, Daniel and Thomas Burkhardt; his stepchildren, Doug, Dean, Mark and Emilie; and his parents, John Burkhardt and Eliza Jane Burkhardt. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Toys for Tots.
