He was predeceased by: his daughter Marybeth Mahoney; and his siblings, Helen Occhipinti, Paul Mahoney, Sheldon Mahoney and John Mahoney (Beverly).
He is survived by: his wife Rita Mahoney (Reardon); his children, Theresa Conway, Robert Mahoney, Jr. (Gay), Helen Lifrieri, Colleen Mahoney and Sean Mahoney (Maura); his grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Matthew, Meghan, Taylor, Robert, Shealynn and Bailee; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Maeci, Mason and Jude; his sisters, Kathleen Cripps and Margaret Mahoney; his close friend Ronnie Barron; and his children-in-law, Robert Lifrieri, Robert Rodrigues, Gay and Maura. He is also survived by many loving brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home- Hanson (2 Maquan St, Hanson, MA 02341). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Parish- St Mary's (392 Hanover St, Hanover, MA 02339). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Central Cemetery (60 Hemlock Ln, Halifax, MA 02338).
