She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Arruda, Sr. and Louise Arruda (Morey); her brothers, Joseph A. Arruda Jr. and Donald Arruda (Pete); her daughter Cheryl Ann (Buotte); and her grandson Patrick Buotte Keogh.
She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Buotte, Sr.; her son Robert Buotte, Jr. (Bobby); her children-in-law, John Hopkinson (Cheryl Ann) of San Diego, CA and Mal Hughes (Robert A. Buotte, Jr.) of Yarmouth, MA.; her daughters, Kathryn Sylvia (Coholan) of So and Diane Keogh (Michael Keogh) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Jill Brazao (Hopkinson), Kate Sylvia, Michael Sylvia, Amy Hopkinson, Dylan Buotte, Kristan Buotte, Kyle Keogh, Matthew Keogh (Danielle Keogh) and Elle Keogh Taubenfeld (Britton Taubenfeld); her great grandchildren, Raegan Brazao, Natalie and Fiona Keogh; and her caregiver Steven Golden.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests any donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital, in honor of the love and light Carol brought into the world.
