He was predeceased by: his parent Howard Abbott; and his brother Howard Abbott, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Abbott (Whitcomb); his wife Pamela Abbott (Maidment); his sons, William Jr. of San Diego, CA, Steven Abbott and Brian Abbott; his stepson Michael Fontaine (Janet) of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Cassandra Fontaine, James Fontaine, Michael Abbott, Melanie Caron and Andrew Caron; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Bentley, Brooke, Matthew and Bryson; and his siblings, Robert Abbott (Karen) of Lowell, Grace Malone (Ronald Bilodeau) of Haverhill and Patricia Malone (Dan) of Pigeon Forge, TN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen MA 01844, or a charity of the donor's choice.
