He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard Fairbanks and Bertha Fairbanks (Woodworth); his siblings, Thomas, David Fairbanks and Laura Senter; his granddaughter Marie Marchand; and his great grandchild Thomas Vincent Marchand.
He is survived by: his close friend Arbie Taylor; his wife Nancy Marie Fairbanks (Beckwith); his daughters, Deborah Fairbanks of Lowell, Jody (Darryll Farinha) and Jennifer (Jerry Moore); and his adoptive daughters, Darlene and Laureen. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
