He was predeceased by: his father Walter F. Burgess Sr.; and his brother Wesley. He is survived by: his daughter Diana; his wife Joan Marie Lazisky; his grandchildren, Adam L. Berkeley and Alexa N. Berkeley of Groveland; and his siblings, Clara O'Malley of Manchester, Juliette LaFreniere, Russell Burgess of Beverly and Melinda Burgess of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
