He was predeceased by: his parents, Duey Hutchings and Gertrude Hutchings (Farren); his son Daniel V. Hutchings; and his siblings, John Hutchings, Donald Hutchings, Viola Fillarte, Edna Duval and Dorothy Haley.
He is survived by: his wife Melita Hutchings (Harris) of Groveland; his daughter Kimberley (Jeffrey Spaulding) of Haverhill; and his sister Mary McKnight of New Brunswick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
