He was predeceased by: his father Michael Golden; his wife Irene (Belanger); and his siblings, James, John Golden, Katherine Winn and Ethel Belanger.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Golden (Bonnie), Karen M. Golden-Smith (Lloyd) of North Andover and Joseph A. Golden (Claire) of Haverhill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
