He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline (Gallant); and his sibling Jean Paul Cayer. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Cayer (Jacinda Rich), Stacey Cayer, Richard Cayer (Anna) and Michael Cayer (Danielle); his grandchildren, David Jennings, Jessica Cayer, Samantha Cayer, Madison Cayer, Mason Cayer, Colton Cayer, Kayla Cayer and Olivia Cayer; and his siblings, Joseph Cayer, Richard Cayer, Rachel Berube, Doris Bedard and Lucille Keegan.
