He is survived by: his wife Ellen M. Nyilis (Sullivan); his children, John Nyilis of Baltimore and Lauren Nyilis of Groton, Massachusetts.; his parents, John E. Nyilis and Maureen Nyilis (Daly) of Delmar; his siblings, Michael of Arlington, VA, Mary Hatton (Jay) of Stafford, VA, Collen Brennan (Dave) of San Diego, CA and Tom (Jessica) of Watertown, MA.; his in-laws, Michael Sullivan (Nellie), Maureen Reim (John), Carol Donnelly (Danny) and Clare Freed (Rich); and also Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Badger Funeral Home (45 School St, Groton, MA 01450). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Church (13 St James Ave, Groton, MA 01450).
