He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy Hann, Richard Martell, Ruth Dooling, Florence Burridge, James Martell, Nancy Stevenson, John Martell, Walter Martell, Janice Kloppenburg and Arthur Martell.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Martell (Jones); his daughter Donna Martell-Whitney; and his sisters, Elizabeth Fabiano, June Mercer, Susan Collyer, Anne Passalaqua and Geraldine Blackburn. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
