With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Clifton Batson Jr. of Groton, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 1, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sr. Batson and Leona Batson (Russell). He is survived by: his wife Linda (Russell); his children, Tracy Abraham (Michael) of Groton and Michael Batson (Cindi) of Chelmsford; his grandchildren, Blake, Carolyn, Jack, Gavin, Alex and Savannah; his siblings, Virginia Turpin of Boxborough, Susan Whitman of Fitchburg and James Batson; and his brother-in-law Charles Russell.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Mass General Hospital Pancreatic Cancer Research at massgeneral.org.
