With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorcas Myrtle (Sigmon) Murphy of Groton, Massachusetts, born in Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Enos Murphy, Jr.; her parents, John Emmett and Eslie Addie Maybelle Sigmon; and her son David E. Murphy, III. She is survived by: her children, John E. Murphy of Groton and Dorcas Brule of Littleton. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
