With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diana Peabody Bell of Groton, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 30, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Winchester Jackson and Alfred Horatio Belo Peabody; her sister Carol Peabody Southwell; and her stepparents, Barbara Ginn Deely and Francis Howes Gleason.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Stoughton Bell; her children, Louisa Bell Paushter (Robert Brown Paushter) of Concord, MA, Thomas Stoughton Bell, Jr. (Vickie Caron Bell) of Cumberland, ME and Peter Alfred Bell of Stow, OH; her sister Jill Peabody Sheelar-Uris; her stepsister Leeli Bonney of Meriden, NH.; and her grandchildren, Jackson Paushter of Boulder, CO, Annabelle Paushter of Concord, MA, Harrison Bell of Cumberland, ME and Carson Bell of Cumberland, ME. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities USA or Boston Children's Hospital.
