The passing of Dennis Patrick Murray of Groton, Massachusetts, born in Erie, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 71. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Dennis Patrick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dennis Patrick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Joseph Murray and Kathryn Ann Murray (Genck); his godparents, Margaret Murray and Charles Genck; and his niece Maggie Mae Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Ann Murray (Flannery); his son Brendan Patrick Murray; and his brothers, Brian Murray of Erie, PA and Terrence Murray (Joyce) of Fredricksburg, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and good friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Badger Funeral Home - Groton (45 School St, Groton, MA 01450). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (13 St James Ave, Groton, MA 01450).
