He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jarvis and Joan Jarvis (Sullivan); and his brother Michael Jarvis. He is survived by: his son Jason Jarvis (Lydia) of Buckland; his stepdaughter Amanda Toporek (Seth Recore) of Turners Falls; his granddaughter Maizie Jarvis; and his siblings, David Jarvis of Shelburne Falls, Ed Jarvis of Greenfield and Kim Turner of Greenfield. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations towards covering funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
