He is survived by: his parent Thomas Gessing (Joan); his son Nicholas Gessing; his granddaughter Mara; his mother Barbara Ripingill (Allen); his sister Paula Tobiason (Bob) of Colorado; his nieces and nephews, Ryan and Sarah; his sister Lisa Fischer of Colorado; and his nephews, Austin, Jackson and Alex Fischer. He is also survived by many step siblings, uncles, and cousins.
