She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford J. Akey, Jr.; and her brother George Koch, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Wilkins (Bruce), Robert Akey, Carole Akey, David Akey (Ann), Anne Schwartzman (Hayim), Nancy Robie (Paul) and Daniel Akey (Pam). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kostanski Funeral Home (220 Federal St, Greenfield, MA 01301). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
