He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luigi Polo and Columbia Polo; his wife Harriet Polo (Moore); his granddaughter Elizabeth Sweeney; his children, Matthew D. Polo, Ann Sweeney (Michael), Jane Polo (Kevin Olson) and Mary Butynski; his grandchildren, Kate Richard (Jim), Jennifer Grubler (Andrew), Emily Kerwin (Randy), Samantha Jones (Ethan) and Joshua Butynski; and his brothers, John Polo (Barbara Smead) and Jospeh Polo. He was also cherished by eleven great grandchildren.
