The passing of Mary E. Choiniere of Greenfield, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 61. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Stone and Eleanor Stone; and her sisters, Bonnie Stone and Kristine Fortune. She is survived by: her husband Donald "Butch" Choiniere; her stepsons, Donald Joslyn and Brandon Choiniere; her grandchildren, Abigail, Aiden and Ashton Joslyn; her siblings, Richard Stone, Susan Stone, Kathy Stone, Candy DeRoy, Debbie Rigali and Lisa Stone; and her mother-in-law Bert Choiniere. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kostanski Funeral Home (220 Federal St, Greenfield, MA 01301). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Regional Dog Shelter, 10 Sandy Lane, Turners Falls, MA 01376 or at the Rendevous to benefit the displaced survivor of the fire, close friend and tenant Dan.
