He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Kent and Esther Kent (Jackson); his wife Cynthia Kent; his children, Heather Kent of Walpole, Cathryn Kent of Wenham and Roger Kent (Karen) of Southington, CT; his grandchildren, Kerowyn, Julianna, Kayla and Ian; his great grandchildren, Kaden and Jaden; and his siblings, Marilyn Kosis, David Kent (Lynne) and Arthur Kent (Ruth).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Homes for Our Troops.
